CPR, Code Blue




Scene: Emergency room. Code Blue activated. Team of three arrives to collapsed patient. Compressor leads assessment.


Leader/Compressor: Patient down! Check responsiveness, breathing and pulse. Prep AED. Insert IV line.


Defib/Meds: AED prepped, code called. Standing by.


Airway: Checks the pulse (at carotid artery). (To the patient): Are you OK?. Unresponsive confirmed. Pulse unpulpated. (не пальпируется)


Leader/Compressor: Airway, check breathing — look, listen, feel 10 seconds.


Airway: No chest rise, no breath sounds, no air. Apnea confirmed.
Leader/Compressor: Appy the pads of AED, check the rhythm.


Defib/Meds: Applying the pads. Asystolia on monitor.


Leader/Compressor: Start CPR! I'm on compressions: 100-120/min, 5-6 cm. Airway: head-tilt/chin-lift, 2 breaths after 30. 


Leader/Compressor: (counts 1-30)


Airway: Airway open, 30:2. Executing.  


Defib/Meds: IV inserted. AED charged, pads ready. Analyzing in 2 minutes.


Airway: Thirty compressions done. Two breaths — chest rise good.


Leader/Compressor: Rhythm check now!


Defib/Meds: Analyzing. Shockable rhythm — Ventricular Fibrillation! Clear! Shocking!


[All clear; shock delivered.]


Leader/Compressor: Resume CPR immediately! High-quality compressions. Airway, continue 30:2.


Airway: CPR resuming. 30:2 cycle. Executing.



Compressor: Post-shock rhythm check in 2 minutes. Preparing Adrenaline.



Leader/Compressor: Pause for analysis. Rotate compressors.


Defib/Meds: Analyzing... Still shockable! Clear! Shocking! 


Leader/Compressor: Adrenaline 1 mg IV now!


Defib/Meds: Adrenaline 1 mg IV in and flushed.


Leader/Airway: Resume CPR.


Compressor: Compressions restarting.


Leader/Airway: Next rhythm check in 2 minutes. Continue teamwork!


Leader/Airway: I'll secure the airway. Prepare the tube. 


Defib/Meds: Preparing the tube. Ready.


Leader/Airway: (to Defib/Meds) While I'm securing the airway, hold the Ambu-bag handy if I won't succeed.


Defib/Meds: OK, Ambu-bag handy.


Leader/Airway: Pause the compressions! 


Compressor: Stop the compressions.


Leader/Airway: Securig the airway. Airway secured. Mask on. Resume the compressions!


Compressor: Compressions resumed. Feel fatiue. Need change.


Leader/Airway: Rhythm check! All clear! Compressor change.


Defib/Meds: Rhythm shockable, Ventricular Febrillation.


Leader/Compressor: Deliver shock!


Defib/Meds: All clear, oxygen clear!


Airway: Mask off!


Defib/Meds: Shock delivered.


Leader/Compressor: Resuming CPR. Mask on!


Airway: Mask on!


Leader/Compressor: Get ready Amio!


Defib/Meds: Amio ready.


Leader/Compressor: Stop cpr, get Amio in!
